...I write to you, [youth], because you are
strong
and the word of God lives in you. I Peter 5:5
What is your favoritestyle of music? Is it country, Christian, contemporary,
rock, rap, classical, . . .?
Music is an important partof our daily lives. It touches us in a way few other things can. It’s fun. It’s
social. It’s personal. Songs written to be enjoyed by millions can feel like they were written just for
you.
What is your music saying to you?
Come join uson Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00PM. We will
be exploring different styles of music, and the messages behind the music. We will break apart some
traditional hymns and some newer contemporary Christian songs to see how they are alike and how they are
different.
You don’t need any musical or singing ability to enjoy this time together. And, who doesn’t
like music?!?!
See you on Wednesday nights in the month of
September.
Exception: No Youth meeting on business meeting night, September
22.

in the way he should go and when
he is old he will not turn from
it.

Parents,
We take joy in being part of Christian training for your
children.
Christian growth in church begins with feeling God’s
love through scriptures and through the lives and words of their teachers in Sunday School.

The children sit as a group with their
leaders during the 11:00 worship service to fellowship with the congregation, enjoy the music, and listen to a
special "children’s sermon" just for them. Then as a group they move to the Worship Kidstyle room for snacks,
Bible stories and study; making related crafts, and playing fun games.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The children have a great time learning a
variety of styles in praise songs and hymns. Of course, action activities are included for fun and
